Watch and listen to Moscow. Let the names of the fallen be illuminated with the light of our grateful memory, with the light of our love, with the light of our sorrow... Let's recall - 3 years 10 months and 18 days ... The Great Patriotic War claimed 26,452,000 lives... Let's remember those who fought with the enemy on the front...Those who fought in partisan detachments...Those who suffered in Nazi concentration camps... Let us remember those without sleep and rest worked in the rear. Let us remember those who reached Berlin and Prague, and who is not with us today... Think of the villages burnt down, of the towns rubbed out. Let's remember the hundreds of cities destroyed, but unconquered - remember every street, every house...A soldier of the Great Patriotic War - you stood to death near Moscow and Stalingrad, you were carrying bread in the besieged Leningrad, you were burning in the tank near Prokhorovka. Dying, you were saving millions of lives ... You, who lost your loved ones in Stalin's camps - brought freedom to the prisoners of Auschwitz, Buchenwald, Dachau. You did not invade other nations' borders, you were not looking for glory ... You defended the Motherland, protected your family. Let us remember all those who put their lives on the altar of Victory, let us bow our heads to them low. Years, decades pass, generations change ... But is it possible to sink into oblivion the feat of the soldiers who have defended not only our lives, but also the title of a Man, who wanted to crush fascism. On the day of the Great Victory we bow our heads before the blessed memory of all those, who never returned from the war: sons, daughters, fathers, mothers, grandfathers, husbands, wives, brothers, sisters, comrades, relatives, friends... There comes a moment of silence. Eternal memory to the victims of the Great Patriotic War! Eternal glory to the heroes who fell for the freedom and independence of our Motherland! 9 МАЯ. ДЕНЬ ПОБЕДЫ.
